During Venice Fashion Week 2025, the historic Palazzo Contarini Polignac became the stage for a unique celebration of art, fashion, and sustainability, curated by the internationally renowned fashion curator and talent scout Cristina Vittoria Egger, in partnership with ‘Alwaysupportalent.’

Egger, a prominent figure in the international fashion scene for many years, personally championed a moment of preloved fashion in Venice, giving voice to sustainable, yet contemporary luxury. Her vision brought timeless glamour within reach of every woman, allowing each guest to experience the dream of owning a designer piece ethical, accessible, and forever stylish.

The preloved fashion shooting, directed by Flavia Cannata and photographed by Thierry Torres, transformed the Grand Canal setting into a runway of history and innovation. Each garment told a story: garments by Fendi, Prada, YSL, and others were reimagined as sustainable luxury, bridging past and present.

“This project,” says Egger, “is about showing that fashion can be both glamorous and responsible. Every woman, at any age, should be able to dream and wear a piece that carries meaning, history, and elegance without compromising sustainability.”

Alongside this curated showcase, the Always in Venice collective fashion show presented a striking selection of designers from Yasminae’s sustainable transformations of vintage Middle Eastern rugs into wearable art, to Camilla Hu’s serene, yoga-inspired garments, and the sculptural creations of Raffaele Zenga. Egger’s intervention added a strong curatorial narrative, emphasizing creativity with conscience, and ensuring that sustainability became a star of the week.
