After celebrating in 2025 the velocity as an expression of Italian genius, FuoriConcorso returns to the shores of Lake Como with a new chapter dedicated to an automotive tradition that has made precision and engineering a form of thought.
The theme of the 2026 edition, KraftMeister, explores the deep identity of the German automobile: a design culture in which technique, function and design converge into a rigorous and recognisable language.
Between the historic architecture of Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, the exhibition journey will guide visitors through some of the most emblematic expressions of German engineering: from legendary competition cars to visionary prototypes, from production icons to radical interpretations by the most celebrated tuners.
As every year, FuoriConcorso will transform Lake Como into an international stage where collectors, designers, engineers and enthusiasts gather to celebrate the automobile as a cultural, industrial and aesthetic object.
The 2026 edition promises to be an immersive narrative dedicated to a unique design philosophy, in which the pursuit of performance interweaves with rigorous formal discipline and a technical tradition that has defined the history of global automotive culture.

KraftMeister: the visual and conceptual identity
The visual identity of KraftMeister is defined by the theme of sharp edges — a metaphor that encapsulates the German design approach, in which every line serves a function, every surface responds to a technical requirement, every form is born to improve control, efficiency and speed. A language developed between the Seventies and Nineties, deeply rooted in the Bauhaus legacy and in brands that made this vision iconic, from automotive to industrial design.
Emblematic is the image of the four heads, which narrates the evolution of man and driver through time: from primal ingenuity, represented by the bare head, to the progressive integration of body, machine and protection. A visual journey that becomes a powerful synthesis of the relationship between human being and technology, between instinct and speed.
The orange colour, chosen as a distinctive element, evokes the energy of technique, the world of workshops, machinery and industrial safety. The typeface inspired by Eighties computers introduces a visual bridge between past and future, evoking the pioneering era of digital technology and the allure of retro tech.
Guglielmo Miani and KraftMeister: the Bauhaus, function as supreme form.
“KraftMeister is born from the desire to tell the story of an automotive culture that has made engineering a form of thought, and thought a form of identity. Where Italy celebrated speed as an expression of beauty and passion, Germany built its legend through technical discipline, precision and a relentless pursuit of performance that admits no compromise. Two different souls, both necessary, both capable of moving us: FuoriConcorso exists precisely for this, to give voice to both.
KraftMeister is also a meditation on time: on the automobile as an object that accumulates history without consuming it, carrying in its very DNA the legacies of generations of engineers, drivers and visionaries. Not unlike what unfolded in the Thirties, when the Bauhaus lesson, form at the service of function, beauty as the consequence of precision, crossed the Alps and found, in the rationalist architects of Como, unexpected and willing interlocutors: men who, on these very shores, were demonstrating that German rigour and Mediterranean sensibility could fuse into an entirely new language, one capable of giving form to the age they inhabited. Every car displayed at Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota will be a chapter of this narrative: not an object to contemplate in silence, but an argument to be understood, an idea from which to draw inspiration. Lake Como, once again, offers the perfect setting, a place where beauty requires no explanation, and mastery announces itself at first glance.”
An exhibition journey between engineering and design culture
The KraftMeister edition will unfold through a series of themes exploring the many souls of the German automobile, from competition to technological research, from industrial design to performance culture.
The stars of the KraftMeister edition
Mercedes-Benz – 140 Years of Force and Mastery – History of Racing
Mercedes-Benz is the natural partner of KraftMeister: no other brand embodies with such consistency, across one hundred and forty years, the idea that power can simultaneously be a measure of ingenuity and a form of excellence. At FuoriConcorso 2026, the Stuttgart Star presents over a dozen cars across two distinct spaces at Villa del Grumello, each with its own character and narrative voice: together, a gallery of time spanning one hundred and forty years of history, from the very birth of the automobile to the technological apex of the present. An ambition that only a brand with this depth of heritage could afford to express with such breadth.

Among the highlights of this section:
- Benz Patent-Motorwagen, 1886
- Mercedes Grand Prix, 1906
- Mercedes-Benz SSK, 1928
- Mercedes 300 SLR, 1955
- Mercedes-AMG ONE hypercar, 2024
Each car represents a fundamental chapter in the history of motor racing, testament to an engineering approach that has often anticipated the future.
Mercedes-Benz – Starting Grid: from the Origin to the Summit
Starting Grid is a journey through the entire history of the automobile, which with Mercedes-Benz coincides — not through rhetorical boast but historical fact. The sequence carries the solemnity of an epic poem: every car is a verse, every decade a stanza, and the thread running through it all is always the same — the relentless pursuit of the limit, engineering as a vocation.
Opening the narrative, the Benz Patent-Motorwagen of 1886: not simply a car among others, but the automobile itself — the first internal combustion engine vehicle homologated for road use, the point zero from which everything else descends. Alongside it, a Mercedes Grand Prix of 1906, already capable of expressing a power the world struggled to imagine; continuing with the Mercedes-Benz SSK of 1928, nicknamed ‘White Elephant’ because its huge size, white racing paint and trumpet-like supercharger roar made this brutally powerful car as imposing and unforgettable as an elephant on the racetrack. The journey reaches its emotional apex with the Mercedes 300 SLR of 1955, the type of car with which Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson accomplished the greatest feat in the history of road motorsport at that year’s Mille 1000 Miglia. Closing the circle, the Mercedes-AMG ONE of 2024: a production hypercar that transplants Formula 1 technology intact onto the road, a hybrid engine exceeding one thousand horsepower — a car that does not celebrate the past but is its direct consequence.

DTM Mercedes-Benz – Private Lawn: the sporting soul of the 190
On the Private Lawn, Mercedes-Benz pays tribute to one of the most beloved chapters of its recent history: the 190 saloon in its most extreme and compelling form. Three examples that tell, with growing intensity, how a car born for everyday use can become a cult object for the most discerning enthusiasts.
The Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution and the 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II are the direct heirs of an unrepeatable season of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft DTM, the German touring car championship which in the Nineties succeeded in combining fierce competition, advanced technology and popular appeal as no other series in the world. Widened bodywork, wind-tunnel-developed wings, engines tuned by the legendary AMG division: the 190 Evolution is proof that German rigour can also seduce. Completing the triptych, the Mercedes HWA EVO, its spiritual and technical heir, a synthesis of memory and present.

A scenic installation recounts over a century of evolution of the Stuttgart Star, through some of the cars that have defined the very idea of performance and technological innovation. Each car represents a fundamental chapter in the history of motor racing, testament to an engineering approach that has often anticipated the future.
Race Cars
A concentration of competitive excellence will bring together some of the most iconic cars in the history of German motorsport. Race Cars is the ideal space where competition becomes an absolute language and every car is an expression of uncompromising pursuit.

Representing the aristocracy of endurance racing, Porsche, three icons that can be read as a single narrative: Porsche 908 LH, Porsche 917 LH e Porsche 962. Three different eras, one single obsession: winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Extreme aerodynamic solutions, continuous technical evolutions and an engineering vision that redefined the very concept of endurance and speed.
Alongside this lineage, Kremer K3 embodies the most radical spirit of Group 5: the extreme evolution of the Porsche 935, winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979, it is a manifesto of design freedom, where exasperated aerodynamics, lightness and power coexist in a brutal and fascinating equilibrium, made all the more astonishing by its road homologation.
Closing the exclusive selection, the BMW 3.0 CSL in Jägermeister livery, the undisputed star of the European Touring Car Championship in the Seventies, where it set a new standard for performance and visual identity. An icon that anticipates the spirit of modern German touring competitions, transforming the circuit into a space where engineering rigour and expressiveness converge.

Restomod
Restomod is a territory where memory and design converge, giving form to cars that begin from a historical base and are reinterpreted through contemporary technologies, materials and sensibilities. It is not about restoring, but rewriting: preserving the original identity while pushing it towards new levels of precision, performance and usability.
Eccentrica V12 “Titano” enters this language with a radical approach. Based on the Diablo, it amplifies its character without betraying its essence, working on dynamic precision, response and lightness. The iodynamic efficiency, introducing track-oriented solutions while preserving the car’s analogue soul. Lighter, more exposed, more direct — Titano delivers a visceral experience where performance and individuality merge into a single, coherent expression.
In the centenary of the birth of Giotto Bizzarrini, the brand bearing his name opens a new chapter, projecting into the present the legacy of one of the most visionary minds in Italian automotive history. In 2026, Bizzarrini presents an unprecedented model that continues this tradition of innovation, reaffirming founding values of technical research, formal purity and performance vocation. The collaboration with Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, begun over sixty years ago, finds new expression today through unique examples long held at concept stage and finally brought to light. FuoriConcorso thus becomes the first context in which to witness this encounter between luxury and performance, between memory and vision.

Tuner Extravaganza
A celebration of engineering excess. Tuner Extravaganza is the territory where German engineering discipline pushes beyond
its own boundaries, transforming itself into a radical language.
This section will bring together some of the most radical interpretations of performance by the great German tuners, protagonists of a parallel automotive culture defined by extreme power outputs and technical solutions beyond convention. Here performance is no longer merely a measure, but controlled excess, experimentation, an alternative vision.
The protagonists of this section are some of the absolute icons of this parallel culture:
Gemballa Mirage GT, presented in 2010 as the extreme evolution of the Porsche Carrera GT, amplifying its power and scenic presence to the point of redefining its identity. Produced in very few examples, it features deep aerodynamic and technical work, with a carbon fibre body, enlarged air intakes, vented rear bonnet and a large adjustable wing. The mechanical interventions refine response and airflow, yielding a car that is more direct, intense and uncompromisingly radical.
Koenig Specials: rare creations by Koenig, extreme soul of German high-performance tuning. Rare presences, almost never exhibited, emerging like apparitions out of time — witnesses to a season in which excess became language and transformation became a radical act. Enigmatic objects, more to be discovered than described.
Mercedes-Benz 300 CE 6.0 AMG, the legendary “Hammer”, embodies the origin of everything: a saloon transformed into a manifesto of absolute power, symbol of an era in which AMG rewrote the rules. Together, these cars tell of a free approach, in which every project becomes a declaration of creative independence.

Concept Cars – Design Studies
Visionary prototypes and concept cars that have anticipated the future. Not mere show cars, but genuine instruments of industrial research — rolling laboratories through which the automobile explores itself and its possibilities. In these projects, innovative materials, advanced aerodynamic solutions and new formal languages take shape, often destined to influence entire generations of cars. This is where design liberates itself from the constraints of production and engineering confronts the unknown: a space in which the project becomes vision, and vision, inevitably, traces the future.
Maybach Exelero is an absolute one-off, born to explore the limits of speed in relation to tyre technology. Developed in
collaboration with Fulda and based on the Maybach 57 S platform, it represents an extreme exercise in which mass, power and
aerodynamics coexist in constant tension. With over 2.7 tonnes launched beyond 350 km/h and astonishing acceleration, Exelero
pushes luxury into an unprecedented dimension, transforming it into an instrument of experimentation. An object beyond scale,
where engineering and provocation meet.
BMW Vision EfficientDynamics represents a conceptual turning point, in which performance and sustainability cease to be opposites to become parts of a single system. Presented in 2009, it anticipates a new idea of mobility through a plug-in hybrid architecture combining a three-cylinder turbodiesel engine with two electric units, creating all-wheel drive that unites energy efficiency with supercar performance. The strongly characterful design is defined by fluid lines, active aerodynamics and features such as gull-wing doors, while the driver-oriented cockpit employs lightweight materials and advanced technologies. Innovative technical solutions anticipate a new generation of high-performance cars, demonstrating how the future can be both responsible and exhilarating.

911 Air-Cooled Pavilion
In the 911 Air-Cooled Pavilion, Porsche celebrates one of the purest expressions of its technical identity: the era of air-cooled 911s, where essential engineering and mechanical character find an unrepeatable equilibrium.
The undisputed protagonist will be the dynasty of the air-cooled Porsche 911, cars that defined an era through their unique technical architecture and the unmistakeable character of the flat-six engine.
A selection of examples recounting the sporting vocation of the model, beginning with the 911 2.6 ST Tour de France of 1971, celebrated for its psychedelic Shell livery and its exploits at the Tour de France with Larrousse and Barth. Alongside it, the 911 (964) in RSR specification, winner at the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring and Spa, driven by Edgar Dören and Bernd Mayländer, testifies to the evolution of performance in endurance terms.

Helmut Newton and the Automobile: when the lens inhabits the machine
15 May – 30 June – free admission
There is a subtle yet tenacious thread that runs through the poetics of Helmut Newton and the theme of this edition of FuoriConcorso: the conviction that the automobile is never merely a vehicle, but a language, dense with tension, desire and era. Newton knew this with the certainty of the greats: for over six decades, from the Via Appia Antica where in 1956 he placed his white Porsche 356 beside the portrait of June, to the New Beetle campaigns in Milan in 1999, the automobile traversed his work as a recurring character — at times aristocratic backdrop, at times absolute protagonist. He did not document it: he inhabited it, and in that inhabiting revealed something true about man, about taste, about the passing of time.

It is this elective affinity between the rigour of the lens and the sublime perfection of mechanical form that made it natural, indeed inevitable, to bring Helmut Newton. Cars to the shores of this lake. As Guglielmo Miani, CEO of Larusmiani and founding partner of FuoriConcorso, has declared: “Bringing this exhibition to Villa Olmo, on the lake that Newton himself loved and so often frequented, was for Larusmiani a natural, almost necessary act. We are founding partners of FuoriConcorso because we believe the automobile deserves the same curatorial dignity afforded to architecture, to fashion, to art — because this has been, for one hundred years, our most authentic and enduring vocation.”
World Premieres
BRABUS – The Instant that Redefines Power
BRABUS is not simply a name, but a declaration of intent. Since 1977, the German brand has redefined the very concept of contemporary performance, transforming every creation into an exercise in radical style, in which engineering, design and
individuality converge into an immediately recognisable form.
At FuoriConcorso KraftMeister, BRABUS inaugurates a new chapter of its story with the world premiere of the BRABUS BODO Gran Turismo Coupé. This is not merely a debut, but a natural evolution: the transition from extreme refinement to an even more ambitious vision — bespoke coachbuilding at the highest level.
This new dimension translates nearly five decades of innovation, courage and savoir-faire into an unprecedented language, where ogni dettaglio diventa espressione di identità e ogni vettura un pezzo unico. È la sintesi più pura della filosofia BRABUS: creare emozione in un istante, quel “One-Second-Wow” che da sempre definisce il marchio.
- BRABUS BODO Grand Turismo Coupé
Bizzarrini
In the centenary of the birth of Giotto Bizzarrini, the brand inaugurates a new chapter while keeping its vocation for experimentation intact. At FuoriConcorso 2026 a world premiere will be presented, deliberately shrouded in secrecy: no images, no previews — only the promise of a project capable of reinterpreting in contemporary terms the legacy of the Livorno-born engineer. In continuity with the historic collaboration with Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, this new creation emerges as the evolution of ideas long held at concept stage. A gesture that chooses silence as a form of anticipation, entrusting to the eye the privilege of discovery.

Porsche – Where Every Car Becomes a Story
A longstanding partner of FuoriConcorso since the very first edition, Porsche naturally embodies the spirit of the project, in which the automobile is above all narrative. At the heart of the display lies not merely the exhibition of cars, but the stories that make them special. In this context, Porsche presents the breadth and creativity of the Sonderwunsch programme, through which cars are created bespoke from the personal visions of clients. Under the KraftMeister motto, the brand brings an extraordinary selection combining historic and contemporary models. Together, these projects show how the encounter between craftsmanship and engineering excellence can yield truly unique cars.
Bentley – Luxury as Definitive Form
With the Batur Coupé, Bentley brings to FuoriConcorso one of the rarest and most sophisticated expressions of the contemporary Grand Touring concept. One of only 18 examples in existence, presented here in a unique configuration, the Batur represents the meeting point of extreme craftsmanship and technical innovation. The Scarab Green Pearlescent shade, developed exclusively by Mulliner, engages with luminous details and sculpted surfaces, while the car’s stage presence is amplified by an almost obsessive attention to every visual element.
Beneath the bodywork, one of the final evolutions of the legendary 6.0-litre W12 biturbo engine expresses extraordinary power, transforming Bentley tradition into a definitive statement before an epochal change.
The interior tells an equally sophisticated story: noble materials, bespoke workmanship and details such as the laser-engraved soundwave of the W12 engine transform the cabin into an intimate and personal space, where technology and craftsmanship coexist in perfect equilibrium.
At Lake Como, the Bentley Batur is not merely displayed: it is an experience, an exercise in style that redefines contemporary automotive luxury.
Koenigsegg – Memory and Future, in the Same Form
La Koenigsegg CC850 is far more than a commemorative model: it is a reflection on time, memory and evolution.
Presented in 2022, the CC850 was born to celebrate two fundamental moments in the brand’s history: twenty years since first production, and the fiftieth birthday of its founder, Christian von Koenigsegg. But beyond anniversaries, this car represents a dialogue between origins and future.
Inspired by the legendary CC8S, the car that gave rise to the megacar category, the CC850 reinterprets its forms and spirit through a contemporary lens, fusing evocative design with cutting-edge engineering. The result is an object that does not look back with nostalgia, but uses the past as living matter to build something new.
The production, limited to just 70 examples, reinforces this dual significance: celebration and transformation. As Christian von Koenigsegg himself has emphasised, the CC850 is simultaneously tribute and manifesto, memory and declaration of future.
Pagani
“In Pagani Automobili we see ourselves somewhat as tailors who craft cars to the measure of our clients’ dreams”, Horacio Pagani always reminds us.
The Pagani Zonda Cervino is the latest expression of the Pagani Automobili Unico programme — a journey clients undertake with the finest designers, engineers and craftsmen at the Pagani Atelier. A process of attentive listening to client desires, continuing into a personalisation experience encompassing any aspect: liveries, interiors, design evolutions, technical updates, aerodynamic solutions and entirely new bespoke components. One of the Atelier’s fundamental principles is to guarantee every client access to the state of the art in Pagani technology, regardless of the car and year of construction. Pagani Unico represents the highest expression of this commitment.
Gordon Murray Automotive
Gordon Murray Automotive represents a radical vision of the contemporary automobile, founded on lightness, purity and the centrality of the driving experience. The celebrated British manufacturer, already responsible for some of the most influential supercars in history, brings to FuoriConcorso the T.50, extreme synthesis of this philosophy. At its heart, one of the lightest naturally aspirated V12 engines ever produced and advanced aerodynamics that redefine the relationship between form and function. A project that does not seek excess, but essence.
MV Agusta
MV Agusta chooses FuoriConcorso as its stage to narrate a vision in continuous evolution, where engineering, design and character converge without compromise. The protagonist is Rush Titanio, just unveiled — the advanced synthesis of the Rush family, in which sophisticated materials and refined technical solutions redefine the very concept of hypernaked. Alongside this expression of pure identity, a world premiere debut of an unprecedented project born from a collaboration with a major
German tuner: an encounter between different sensibilities, fusing the Italian soul of the brand with rigorous engineering. A dialogue between cultures that translates into a new idea of performance, where aesthetics, research and riding experience converge in a unique language.
Also through more rarefied presences, FuoriConcorso welcomes brands distinguished by an autonomous and recognisable vision. Marc Philipp Gemballa, Donkervoort e Naran Automotive represent three different interpretations of the same tension: pushing beyond the conventional boundaries of performance and design. Between references to the most radical tradition of tuning, essential approaches to lightness and new expressions of contemporary luxury, their presence fits into the KraftMeister narrative as a discreet but significant trace, leaving room for discovery and imagination.
Villa Sucota
Casa Audi
At Villa Sucota, Casa Audi will take shape — a narrative that unites the sporting heritage and contemporary vision of the four rings.
Motorsport will be the narrative thread of the exhibition: a permanent laboratory of innovation that has contributed to defining the brand’s technological identity.
From the technical refinement of Group B to the hybrid technology of Le Mans and through to the new frontier of Formula 1, the cars on display trace Audi’s trajectory as a continuous redefinition of performance, efficiency and control. The 1984 Audi Sport quattro is the breakaway point: short wheelbase, brutal power and all-wheel drive transform rallying into an extreme laboratory. A few years later, the 1989 Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO carries that same philosophy across the Atlantic, dominating American circuits with radical aerodynamics and unprecedented power management. With the 2013 Audi R18 e-tron quattro, the concept evolves technologically: hybrid all-wheel drive, energy efficiency and outright victory at Le Mans, together with the LMP1 World Championship titles. Closing the circle, the 2026 Formula 1 single-seater Audi R26 marks entry into a new era, where innovation and strategy once again become the terrain of challenge, a challenge shared in hybrid form with the production range by the new Audi RS 5, the first plug-in in Audi Sport history.
Among the models on display:
- Audi Sport quattro 1984
- Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO 1989
- Audi R18 e-tron quattro 2013
- Audi R26 2026
LARUSMIANI — Founding Partner
LARUSMIANI, founding partner of FuoriConcorso, brings the excellence of the Montenapoleone District into the refined main room of Villa del Grumello, recreating the exclusive atmosphere of the boutique on Via Verri in Milan. For KraftMeister, the fil rouge between sartorial craft and German precision takes the form of an experience that celebrates Italian manufacture as a poetic act: the same care for detail, the same obsession for quality, the shared respect for material.
As in the previous edition, this vision also takes form through the presence of a craftsman at work, invited to create small objects — transforming the manual gesture into performance and concrete testimony of a knowledge that renews itself over time. A moment in which the public can perceive the precision, patience and sensibility concealed behind every creation, rediscovering the authentic value of the handmade.
