A Night of Elegance & Prestige
The 6th Grand Prix Maria Callas Monaco Gala & Awards, held under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, took place in April 29th in Monte Carlo. Dedicated to the legendary soprano Maria Callas (“La Divina”), the charity gala continues to rank among the world’s most distinguished cultural events.

Hosted at the iconic Monte Carlo setting, the event once again exceeded expectations, highlighting artistic excellence, prestige, and refined hospitality. It was led by founder and visual artist Ioanna Efthimiou and Vice President Theodora Michaloliakou, welcoming prominent international guests.
A major highlight was the presence of Prince Albert II, who personally presented awards and reinforced the gala’s royal significance. His participation added exceptional prestige to the evening.

Held in the lavish Salle Empire of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the event featured gilded décor, frescoes, and floral arrangements, gathering royalty, diplomats, business leaders, and cultural figures.
Inspired by the original Maria Callas Gala held in 1963 at the same venue with Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III in attendance, the modern revival continues to honor that legacy while attracting global elite guests.

This year’s attendees included HRH Princess Al Joharah bint Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Princess Olimpia Colonna di Paliano, U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle, Italian Ambassador Emmanuel Ruosi, Stéphane Valeri of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, and Stefano Pessina, among other notable international figures.
