During Haute Couture Week in Paris, I had the privilege of witnessing extraordinary craftsmanship and creativity. Once again, Paris proved to be an essential platform for talented Lebanese designers, who continue to captivate with their exceptional savoir-faire and meticulous attention to detail.

George Obeika
Beyond the well-established names of Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab, I was particularly impressed by the outstanding work of Georges Hobeika, Alexis Mabille, Elio Abou Fayssal, and Georges Chakra. Their collections showcased the true value of craftsmanship, featuring spectacular embroidery and a carefully curated selection of luxurious fabrics such as silk, organza, and duchesse satin—demonstrating a level of creativity that was simply remarkable.

Schiaparelli delivered yet another breathtaking display of artistic genius, mesmerizing an international front row filled with renowned stars and top influencers. However, the most captivating moment of the season was the dreamy show by French designer Robert Rolland, who paid tribute to Josephine Baker with a collection of poetic elegance. The presence of Madame Macron in the front row further underscored the cultural significance of haute couture.

Once again, Paris celebrated fashion as an art form, seamlessly blending heritage and innovation to bring dreams to life.
