Monaco Yacht Show 2025 closed on a triumphant note for leading Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts, as the builder announced the sale of its latest 55-metre steel series superyacht, Agnetha.
The announcement came at a pivotal moment for Heesen, following its acquisition by entrepreneur Laurens Last earlier this year. Showcased in turn-key condition at Cap d’Ail, Agnetha represented the shipyard’s forward-looking spirit and enduring craftsmanship — and the market responded with enthusiasm.

The yacht, which can accommodate up to 12 guests, exemplifies Heesen’s blend of engineering precision and contemporary luxury. Highlights include an expansive 86-square-metre owner’s suite, complete with a private veranda, dedicated office space, and a generous walk-in wardrobe — details that reflect both sophistication and practicality for long stays at sea.

The sale was facilitated through Dubai-based Phoenix Yacht Management, whose introduction of the buyer underscored Heesen’s global reach. Speaking on the acquisition, CEO Ian Harris remarked that Agnetha was “perfectly suited to match his client’s vision of life on the water.”

For Heesen, the sale is more than a commercial success — it is a statement. As the brand embarks on a new era under Laurens Last, Agnetha stands as a testament to the shipyard’s commitment to innovation, quality, and its ability to craft yachts that resonate with discerning owners worldwide.
