Created in 1991, the Monaco Yacht Show took place from September 25 to 28. Organised under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, the show displayed 120 superyachts, including about 40 world premieres, and over 560 companies representing nautical products, services, trends and technologies that define the superyacht sector.
Among the most talked-about yachts that graced Port Hercules this year were the Lürssen-built 122-metre KISMET and Rossinavi’s SEAWOLF X, a 42.8m hybrid-electric catamaran delivered in summer 2024, both of which impressed visitors with their cutting-edge design and engineering, and state-of-the-art amenities.
Sustainability & Innovation
The hot topics of sustainability and innovation are attracting a new generation of clientele. SuperYacht Times hosted three sustainability-focused seminars during the show, including topics, “How can we use materials on board to reduce our carbon footprint?” and “How can we make the composite lifecycle more sustainable?”
Many shipyards and designers are now incorporating eco-conscious interiors, advanced engineering and designs for better energy efficiency, and sustainable materials in their builds.
Designer Kurt Merki Jr created a buzz with his latest 86.5-metre superyacht concept named Zeitgeist presented in the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub. The yacht’s distinctive aesthetic highlighted multiplewow-factor features such as a landing pad for e-VTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) crafts, solar roofing and wind turbines focused on reducing a superyacht’s energy needs.

The Sustainability Hub with the support of Water Revolution Foundation featured a lineup of forward-thinking exhibitors including Ampros, Attested Rigs, Hy Plug, Naturesafe Marine, Siemens Energy and Termodinamica all providing progressive sustainable solutions for the industry.

Parvis Piscine & Upper Deck Lounge
The Parvis Piscine exhibition tent and Upper Deck Lounge were sophisticated areas to explore the latest trends in interior design, yacht furnishings and luxury services. Visitors had the opportunity to meet artisans, internationally renowned designers, and leading suppliers from Dassault Aviation, Sabrina Monte-Carlo, YC Interiors and Sindalah. A refined bar-lounge and a restaurant at the Upper Deck Lounge, offered a space for relaxation and a daily gourmet menu.

Monaco Yacht Show is not just a showcase of the world’s finest yachts; it is a celebration of luxury lifestyle, marked by innovation, partnerships and sustainability. Whether you are looking to buy a superyacht or want to explore a world of exquisite products, the MYS reflects the industry’s commitment to excellence and bold projects.
