Under The High Patronage Of HSH Prince Albert II

& The Honorary Presidency Of HSH Princess Charlene

An evening of elegance, music, thrills and philanthropy

The High Patronage of Prince Albert II and the Honorary Presidency of Princess Charlène lent prestige to the Pink Ribbon Monaco’s extraordinary evening on February 2nd, 2024.

The event took place at the Salle Médecin, located in the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo. It offered a blend of sophistication and privilege, combining a gala dinner with a charitable auction to support research into lobular breast cancer at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace. The gathering of nearly one hundred distinguished dignitaries poignantly reminded attendees of the need to combat breast cancer. The event raised significant funds to support the cutting-edge research spearheaded by Dr. Hugonnet at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, a beacon of hope for countless individuals impacted by this affliction. The entertainment for the evening featured a casino game animation with Roulette and Black Jack, and the generous support of our sponsors enabled us to offer prizes from Bougies Baobab, Chateau d’Esclans-Whispering Angel, and Oath Gin. The Zhang Zhang Band, led by Monaco’s extraordinary talent and lead violinist of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic, Zhang Zhang, provided the soundtrack for the evening’s festivities. The gala event witnessed an enthusiastic auction of an exclusive range of items donated by luxury jewellery brand Vitale 1913, designer house Segraetti, artist Toby Wright, renowned Maison Trudon, a selection of fine wines by Vindome, and World Class Gym, among others. The event showcased the Monaco community’s generosity and support for breast cancer research. The auction was the highlight of the event and served to underline the Monaco community’s unwavering commitment to the cause.

The Société des Bains de Mer’s top chefs treated guests to a sumptuous three course meal meticulously prepared. As the night unfolded, the dance floor came alive, ensuring the spirit of solidarity reverberated well into the night. The Pink Ribbon Monaco Gala was an elegant and graceful example of individuals with a shared commitment to creating positive change. As the curtains closed on this extraordinary evening, the anticipation for the next highly anticipated gala in 2025 began to rise, promising another unforgettable celebration of hope, unity, and progress in the fight against breast cancer.

Founded in 2011 Pink Ribbon Monaco is the first association in the region to mark breast cancer awareness month by illuminating buildings in pink. The organisation, led by Natasha Frost-Savio (Knight of the Order of Saint Charles by decision of H.S.H. Prince Albert II), focuses on early detection and awareness through events like the Pink Ribbon Walk in February and the annual Pink Lights in October. These events convey messages of support, encourage early screening, and aim to save lives. As a Comite for the Protection and Promotion of Women’s Rights (DFM) member, Pink Ribbon Monaco is dedicated to enhancing gender equality. Collaborating with the Princely government, National Council, Ministry of Health, and Princess Grace Hospital, the association has championed awareness, health, and unity for over a decade.
